I really like this lip mask, it makes my lips feel amazing afterwards, but the texture right away is a little strange. Not bad, just interesting haha.

In this dry and cold weather, the lip sleeping mask really softened my lips after one use. There weren't any tastes and scents that caught my attention. It's very neutral and didn't bother me. I'm allergic and sensitive to scented products, so I appreciate Sweet Chef not having perfumes in their products! I would recommend using less than suggested. I should've taken out less than the size of my pinky nail and it would have been the perfect amount!

I have extremely cracked and dry lips due to me being prone to chewing my lips as a nervous habit. I've used other lip masks and while they work better than lip balm, by the morning my lips are dry all over again. Petrolatum had been the best thing I had used, but while my lips didn't get more dry, it didn't really seem to help them repair that quickly. I decided to give this a try and crazy enough, but it feels more occlusive than petrolatum! And when I wake up in the morning my lips still have the mask on them and are nice and moisturized. For me personally this helps my lips more than petrolatum and is really the only thing that helps my lips recover almost overnight. It does feel pretty thick and heavy, even when you only put on a little, so I think some people may not like that, but I'm the person that like a thick, occlusive layer at night to help promote better skin repair. If you've been disappointed with sleeping masks in the past, I'd say this one is worth a try. It's slightly tacky after putting on, but as a person who is easily bothered by sticky sensations, it's not enough to bother me.
